Located in Mersham near Ashford in Kent, The Royal Oak is a pub of real history and heritage with the oldest part of the building dating back as far as 1592, when it served as a game keeper’s lodge on the Hatch estate. Now owned by Kim & Bob Garrett, it’s a place to discover award-winning real ales and tasty, traditional pub food.
The Royal Oak has recently been modernised to deliver a contemporary dining experience, and provides a selection of cask ales, lagers and bottled beer. Whether you are looking for a quiet meal with a loved one, meeting family, friends or work colleagues, we offer a friendly and warm welcome for an enjoyable get together.
Near Ashford, we are just a stone’s throw from the M20 making us a great spot to take a break when driving to and from the Eurotunnel.
